"City routes 10-Sunnyside [Sunnyside Ave. later became Monterey] and 26- Ocean View operated over the old Guerrero, Fourteenth, Chenery, Monterey Boulevard and San Jose Avenue segments of SF &SM. [...] After 1940, the 10 line operated as a rail service only during the rush hours. This service was abandoned in April 1942." — from "San Francisco and San Mateo Railway Company," on the Cable Car Museum Web site.
